Who we are
This policy explains how GAVGO LTD (“GAVGO”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal data when you use the GAVGO website at gavgo.com or get in touch with us. GAVGO is the data controller. We are registered in England and Wales, with our registered office at Unit 1, Quay Business Centre, Harvard Court, Winwick Quay, Warrington, WA2 8LT. You can reach us at [email protected].
Information we collect
- When you use the Connect form: your name, email address, the topic, your message, and any file you choose to attach.
- When you apply for a role: your name, email address, your CV or attachment, and any message you include.
- Automatically when you visit: standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type, through server logs and the anti-spam tool described below.
How we use it, and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiries and provide what you ask for — our legitimate interest in answering you, or taking steps at your request.
- To consider and process job applications — our legitimate interest in recruitment, and taking steps prior to an employment contract.
- To keep the Site secure and prevent spam and abuse — our legitimate interest in protecting the Site.
We never sell your personal data.
reCAPTCHA
We use Google reCAPTCHA to protect our forms from spam and abuse. It collects hardware and software information and sends it to Google for analysis. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies needed for the Site to work — including a session cookie for the admin area and cookies set by Google reCAPTCHA — and we load fonts from Adobe Fonts. We do not currently use advertising or tracking cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential ones may affect how the Site works.
Sharing your information
We don’t sell your data. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the Site and respond to you — for example our website host, our email provider, and Google (for reCAPTCHA) — and where we are required to by law. These providers act on our instructions.
Keeping your information
We keep enquiry and application data only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, after which we delete it.
International transfers
Some of our providers (such as Google) may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the appropriate safeguards required by UK data protection law.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal data, including the right to access it, to ask us to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page is the current one.
